Avebury Stone Circle

The Avebury Stone Circle is a magical place, declared a World Heritage Site. There are many legends about these stones which are placed in a circle. It is located on a hill and consists of two small circles and one much larger surrounding the other two. When I was little, I saw photos of the stones of Stonehenge and had a special feeling, always dreaming of being there. It was a surprise to get to Stonehenge and not feel the same as in my childhood when I looked at that picture in a book of wonders of the world that my father had bought. Everything surrounding Stonehenge is built around the tourism industry and there are dozens of buses and too many people ve disturbed my sense of peace.
