Coline
Historic Creole cottage
The Audubon Inn is a hotel in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter between the Dauphine Street and Conti Street. The hotel itself is pretty notable...it's set in a Creole cottage whose construction dates back to the early nineteenth century and has been property of the state ever since. This is where Jacques Audubon, the famous American naturalist and painter, finished his famous Birds of America series when lived in New Orleans around 1821.
