City With 965 Inhabitants

Atrani is a small village on the southern coast of Italy that only has 965 inhabitants. It's characterized by a very particular structure in which the village next to the square has a "natural theater." The state highway that runs through all this wonderful coast as high passes between the beach and the main square. With its .20 square kilometers in area, Atrani is one of Italy's smallest towns.

This is the authentic Amalfi Coast

Este sí es la autentica costa amalfitana

Excellent
On the Amalfi coast, there is a town for all tastes. If you want luxury and Michelin restaurants, Positano is for you. If you are looking for convenience and easy transportation, then Amalfi is the choice for you. But if you want to relax and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast, there is no better place than Atrani. It is a small fishing village (in fact one of the smallest in Italy) of 1000 inhabitants, nestled between the mountains and the blue Mediterranean. It is one of the few villages on the Amalfi coast not touched by mass tourism, where the neighbors still congregate in the mornings in the whitewashed streets to chat and at night the only sound is the waves. Although it will make you feel that you are far from civilization, the best thing is that it is only 20 minutes walk from Amalfi, the largest and central town of the entire coast. Of course, Atrani does not have much to do. It only has a beach, a church, and a couple of trails that go up to the mountain. But atmosphere has plenty. Its historical center is a labyrinth of alleys, passageways and white stairs that will make you feel more in a Moroccan medina than in the Italian Riviera. I stay in Amalfi, but I have to admit that every morning I walked to Atrani to explore and have breakfast on their quiet terraces. If I ever go back to the Amalfi coast, it will be Atrani without a doubt.

Characteristic and particular village of the Amalfi coast

Borgo caratteristico e particolare della costiera Amalfitana

Excellent
A characteristic and particular village of the Amalfi coast. From any angle the view is breathtaking. The urban layout is among the most unusual ever seen before, in fact, you enter the heart of the country through wonderful stairways and alleys. A place without a doubt to see !!

The best time of day when you sit and wait for the light, the colors and atmosphere come to suggest to capture the heart and soul of places and places like this; a thousand times seen casually, but never really observed
