Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

During my stay in Dubai, I wanted to see the famous Atlantis hotel. Arriving by public transport is very complicated, the subway does not pass by it so I went by taxi, which was not very cheap (although the taxis there are cheaper than in Spain). When you get to the hotel you realize that you can't see anything from ground. The surrounding buildings are just normal houses and, unless you are looking at the island from the air, you can't really see any structural parts of the island that the hotel is on. No doubt that staying at Atlantis is amazing, but to just visit it is not worthwhile. You arrive, and unless you're a guest, you can't enter the hotel.

Though you can't enter the hotel premises without a reservation , a ride on the monorail is good enough to see the surrounding of the hotel :) it looks lovely at night
