Atlantic Forest Reserves Discovery Coast is in the states of Bahia and Espiritu Santo in Brazil and here are the best examples of Atlantic forest in northeast Brazil. It is home to fantastic landscapes that have witnessed the passage of time and the development of a nation. It is made up of 8 areas that are protected: A Biological Reserve; Pau Brasil and Vera Cruz Pau Brasil National Parks, Monte Pascoal and Discovery; Sooretama Biological Reserve and Lindares. An interesting fact in this area is that here you can see the ruins of a particular type of wood, called Pau-Brazil wood from Brazil and who gave its name to this country.
