Asian restaurant, indoor and outdoor dining
Throughout our circuit of the Uzbek land, one of the best places we visited was Khiva, I do not know if it was because it coincided with them putting on a buffet that we all loved, or because it was two of our colleagues birthdays. There was an Uzbek folk show, with cake and everything. The Asian restaurant was located in a separate building opposite the second block of rooms at Hotel Asia Khiva. This is a fairly large room with possibility to eat both indoors and outside under a covered terrace, enjoying the warm weather of the city of Khiva. The breakfast buffet was like that in another hotel where we'd been, but here there was a wider variety, and there was fresh toasts here that were delicious....
Besides that it was much like the other buffets. The best thing that happened was that the first night we prepared a dinner buffet which we loved and that everyone could take what they liked. They had everything: lots of salads, various soups, burgers, fajitas, chips , etc ... And then the last night here we prepared a special dinner party with the auction of a huge birthday cake for our 2 friends whose birthday it was.
