Ascension Feast

The feast of the Ascension is a local festival in the city of Santiago de Compostela (in addition to commemorating the day of St. James, patron of Spain, each July 25). It is usually held in May, although the dates vary as do the celebration of Holy Week, and the tradition is that the Alameda Park is filled with carousels and attractions of all types like a big wheel, bumper cars and the famous raffle.
