Artesanías Sasakuy

Esta Cooperativa de artesanos independientes, especialmente tejedores como así también ceramistas, orfebres, diseñadores y bordadoras, se constituyó como tal en el año 2002 y su mayor interés reside en rescatar materiales tradicionales y tradiciones ancestrales que plasman en sus tejidos, cerámicas, piedras, lanas y demás producciones como las pinturas y murales que ilustran el ingreso al Taller en el 284 de la misma calle. Si bien el entusiasmo original de sus fundadores se vio temporariamente defraudado porque ya casi que no quedaban artesanos con técnicas ancestrales, de pronto se encontraron con que una gran cantidad de jóvenes artesanos se vieron entusiasmados con la idea y se sumaron con un “manos a la obra” a concretar este sueño. La cantidad de telares que encuentras en su interior, ruecas para hilar, mantas, caminos de mesa con guardas incaicas, ponchos de variados diseños y colores. los diferentes tonos, grosores y tipos de lanas que allí encuentras son tales que no sabes con cual quedarte. Cuadernos con páginas y páginas de diseños realizados por los mismos artesanos y tantas cosas más que cuando sales de allí te hubiese gustado llevarte todo. Este taller de Artesanías se encuentra abierto de lunes a domingo desde las 9.00 de la mañana hasta las 21.00 hs en horario corrido y aceptan todos los medios de pago.
