Beautiful and peaceful
As we climbed towards the North along the island's west coast, we reached the charming bay and village of Catacol. At the back of the mountains, towards Glen Rose and after the prairie houses, finally we came to the rocky sands of the bay. It's a small example as to why this island is called "Little Scotland", because it has a bit of everything. There was a small pub-hotel run by friendly people, and it we had wanted a local experience, then Catacol would be a great base on the island (specifically, this accommodation). The bay is famous for watching for seals, killer whales, dolphins and many other species.
