A beautiful town

Arnedillo is a beautiful town located in La Rioja Baja very close to Arnedo. The town is located specifically between the Hez and Peñalmonte mountains on the banks of the famous Cidacos River.

The village consists of a small number of stone houses set along narrow, steep streets. If you look from a distance, you first notice the steeple of the church in the center of Arnedillo. The town is famous for the wonderful and luxurious spa and extraordinary natural hot springs along the river that are visited by hundreds of tourists each year.

In recent years the town has rallied to clean and maintain these natural hot springs, a move which has only drawn more visitors to the village. It's now a town full of life and the restaurants and bars along the main street are full of people both morning and night. I recommend booking table because they fill up pretty quickly. The food here is excellent and the quality of the wine goes without saying. We are in La Rioja, after all.

Arnedillo has many other activities aside from the hot springs. Arnedillo also has a beautiful green path perfect for cyclists and there are several mountains with wonderful hiking trails and even better climbing. I can honestly say that it's an idyllic place for a weekend getaway.
