Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum

The Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum (situated in the city of Phoenix) commemorates the mining industry data of Arizona. It is one of the places with the richest nonfuel mineral production in the USA. The collection is one of the best the world and has been growing and improving ever since and has now been visited by over 23,000 school children and receives 18,000 other visitors each year. The Museum collection is based on minerals and RockHounds from around the world. It is located in the historic auditorium Zaribah The Sanctuary. It offers mineral specimens, lapidary, mining artifacts and fossils from Arizona and around the world.
