Azzonzo
Worth a visit
This amphitheatre was named after the senator of the same name. A modern style, vaguely reminiscent of the ancient Roman amphiteatre. A good space for shows, concerts, events, or just resting while admiring the beautiful natural scenery ranging from the Strait of Messina to the majestic Etna. It was built on the site of the Porto Salvo pier, destroyed in the earthquake of 1908.
