Important point during Holy Week in Seville
It is one of the most traditional and vintage places in the hispalense capital. During Holy Week it is one of the most important points.
Along it, pass many fraternities and on their journey are concentrated thousands of devoted followers of this spectacle without equal, both natives of the land and outsiders attracted by the fame of the celebration, form the popularly known "bulla" (mob). Despite this, there is always an atmosphere of intimacy that provokes a chill for the uninitiated.
On one side of the arch what is known as the Chapel of the Pure and Crowned Clean Conception, an image greatly appreciated by devotees of the Virgin Mary.
Previously, it was known as the Gate of the boats as near it they built vessels in the nearby shipyards, recently restored, which will house temporary exhibitions.
