Arabba

Lo sciatore trova ad Arabba una vasta scelta di piste sulle quali mettersi alla prova con gli sci, dalla più facile per principianti alla più difficile per i più esperti. Ai piedi del Monte Burz c’è il campo scuola dove i bambini, su facili pendii e piste lunghe poche centinaia di metri, possono imparare seguiti dai maestri della Scuola Sci Arabba, per poi passare alle piste più spettacolari ed impegnative lunghe fino a 4 chilometri, con dislivelli che raggiungono anche gli 871 m. Oltre alle famose discese di Portavescovo, è possibile raggiungere, sci ai piedi, la Marmolada, con i suoi 3.269 m la regina delle Dolomiti.

L’inverno scorso volevo fare un weekend sulla neve ma avevo voglia di provare un posto nuovo. Dopo aver cercato un po’ su internet ho deciso di andare a Arabba, nelle Dolomiti. Sono stata davvero felice della mia scelta perché ho passato un bellissimo fine settimana. Le dolomiti sono montagne bellissime, e ad Arabba c’è tutto quello che serve per passare qualche giorno a godersi la neve, mangiando bene e bevendo ancora meglio. Ci sono tantissime piste tra cui scegliere, molti negozi che affittano attrezzatura per chi ne avesse bisogno e ottimi bar per fare colazione e riscaldarsi tra una discesa e l’altra. Ci sono anche ottime scuole scii, una mia amica ha fatto un corso e ha imparato molto in poco tempo. Sicuramente tornerò ad Arabba il prossimo inverno.

Last winter I wanted to make a weekend on the snow but I wanted to try a new place. After searching a bit on the internet I decided to go to Arabba, in the Dolomites. I was really happy with my choice because I had a wonderful weekend. The Dolomites are beautiful mountains, and Arabba c all you need to spend a few days to enjoy the snow, eating well and drinking even better. There are lots of trails to choose from, many shops that rent equipment for those who need it, and great bar for breakfast and warm up between a descent and laltra. There are also excellent skiing schools, a friend of mine did a course and learned a lot in a short time. Definitely will come back to Arabba next winter.
