Hotel Apartamentos Ciudad de Lugo

In August 2009 I spent a weekend in this aparthotel (a type of hotel providing self-catering apartments as well as ordinary hotel facilities) along with three others. Its location is quite good, ten minutes walking distance from the Roman wall interior.

Our apartment consisted of kitchen-lounge, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen part was very large and spacious with everything necessary: fridge, kitchenware, various cupboards, microwave, and Glass-ceramic cooktops.

The lounge part had a sofa bed, dining table, table and a TV of about 32 inches. Both rooms had two beds, fairly large wardrobe and 21 inch flat screen TV.

Although you see photos when you reserve, the reality often exceeds those images, sometimes for better sometimes for worse. In this case, it was for the better.

These apartments are little beauties, if you want you have what’s needed to cook, being that they have a kitchen, oven, refrigerator, dining table and chairs, a comfortable sofa (not always the case), television in the living room and bedroom (with Canal +).

A large room, with an armchair and a good desk, as well as a wardrobe obviously; bathroom complete with shower screen for the shower. The hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout, pets are permitted at no extra cost, cafeteria, restaurant, garage, two minutes from the wall (inside the wall is the old town of Lugo. I do not agree with the previous person, it takes ten minutes if you stop at the Chinese).
