Antonio Marqués de Oliveira Bust

Monsignor Antonio Marques de Oliveira was pastor of the village, in the middle of the 20th century, whose tribute is dedicated to the bust of this illustrious character, born in they year 1958 and died in 1990, as stated in the pedestal made of granite on which stands the bust of Monsignor. The bust of the former pastor is in the place of the same name and one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the river Miño, on the top of the fortress of the Portuguese town of Monçao , opposite another famous character Joao Verde regionalist great poet.
