Vincenzo Tessarin
An antiques market
On the first Sunday of every month, in the square next to the cathedral, Piazza Trento e Trieste, a small antiques market takes place. In spring, the square was filled with stall holders selling porcelain, paintings, books, records, dolls, etc, as well as furniture - benches, tables, dressers, chairs, cupboards and closets, often in the old country style but skillfully restored. Sometimes, looking closely, you might realise that they're not actually antiques - they've just been designed to look that way. But it's still interesting to wander the strolls looking for something unique.
