Antiquarium
The Antiquarium (Salerno) is next to a Roman villa from the first century AD and includes material discovered between 1950 and 1954. The Antiquarium showcases materials from the excavations of the villa, divided according social class. The first room has frescoes on display panels and a small room houses a collection of coins from the first century BC to the fourth century BC and medieval coins, used between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. The Antiquarium (Salerno) was opened in 1982 and is located in the Palace pending the completion of the restructure of its original site in the monastery.
