Sculptures on the 3rd floor windows
This 3-storey house is in front of the Bourgeois House and Casa dos Erotic Cubs in Rua da Coslanilha. Built in the fifteenth century with a granite facade the most notable features are the sculptures on the 3rd floor windows, depicting Bacchus cubs, as visitors were greeted with a glass of wine, so it was presumed to be the best hotel in town. In 1822 it was the Hospice of Zambeira, which was favored by the king and the National Assembly who said it was "real and national" (politically correct words at the time). It's now a private dwelling and the lower floor is occupied by a trade bazaar.
