A great little restaurant in Bergamo, in the square where the cable car departs. The atmosphere is rustic but very nice, with wooden tables and stone walls. The decor is refined, and the staff are really courteous. They'll make you feel at home and will explain all the dishes; most have local names and therefore require a translation. The rice cooked in the local wine is a delicacy. Try the polenta taragna (ie with cheese). It is impossible not to wash it all down with a good wine.
