Angles-Sur-L’Anglin

Constructed on a rocky formation, Angles sur l'Anglin has views of the river, with reeds and water lilies. There is the impressive silhouette of the remains of its castle, constructed in the year 1025. There are many places of Angles sur l'Anglin that is worth a visit. One of them is the terrace next to the station of Calvary and the tiny Romanesque chapel. From here you can have the best views. The walls and towers of the old castle can be seen through a crack in the cliff, known as "Tranchée des Anglais". Further north, and on another hill, the Romanesque bell tower can be found. close by is an old mill.
