One of the most difficult hikes in Zion
Originating in the heart of the park, near the pretty little river that flows peacefully amidst rocky cliffs, Angels Landing is one of the most difficult hikes of Zion National Park but undoubtedly one of the more beautiful and impressive ones. The hike (or climb!) takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes. You climb over 1825 meters high (hard for your thighs!) following a path that is very well-marked at first and then winds through the mountain. There are beautiful views of the valleys and the trek ends a half mile from the actual ascent. It's really challenging, especially when using the metal chains on the rock wall.
