His single vision shakes, motionless but alert, with his hands resting on the hilt of his sword, his face hard delineated only by straight lines and its wings outstretched as if waiting. The Angel of Death or the angel of death, is popularly called as this monumental work of Salamone and that is actually a figure of the Archangel Michael, the guardian of the threshold that guards the border between life and death in the Portal Blue Cemetery.
