Portal into Paradise
On a last-minute budget adventure to the magnificent Maldives, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a day at a luxurious resort. At the spa hut's edge, I found this carved wooden rehal. Traditionally used to hold books of scripture, it seemed to symbolize open hands in gratitude of the picturesque backdrop bursting with color. As I stood surrounded by the surreal and awe-inspiring view, it served to express my own appreciation of nature's bounties. It captures the essence of my journey and a brief glimpse of a portal into paradise.
