The taste of my home
After a long time without seeing my family, dining at Amita has become a tradition every time I return to my home in Cantabria. I have been frequenting it for as long as I can remember - because the food is delicious. However, it was not until a few years ago when the restaurant was revamped, the decor changed and its warehouse expanded, that it became, in my opinion, the best Suances restaurant. The owner and the taste of the kitchen have not changed. Thomas, and his family, now have a restaurant that combine with a modern twist the flavors of the sea that will satisfy even the most demanding palates.
My mouth waters just remembering his grilled tuna, rice with lobster, the rapito (house specialty) and Galician octopus. Desserts are like the icing on the cake and I could recommend one, but I have a problem - I like them all! So the best thing is to discover them for yourself. If you visit Santander, do not hesitate for a second and just book (recommended, especially on weekends) in the Amita. You will not regret it!
