Amadores Beach

After two weeks of travel around Gran Canaria, we go back to the southeast of the island: we want to tell you about our experience in Amadores Beach. Only 5 km away from Marina Suites Canaria and Marina Bay View we find this heavenly beach of about 800 meters long, with calm and crystalline waters, emulating the Caribbean Sea, with a blue flag since 2004.

It is a calm and relaxing beach (except on the summer and weekends), ideal for couples looking for a romantic beach to enjoy the incredible weather of Canary Islands.

You will find lots of bars and restaurants in the promenade, even chill out terraces next to the beach where you can have a nice experience.

It was impossible not to be drawn to this beach; I imagine it happened to you too, since it is a fantastic beach in the south of Gran Canaria, between Puerto Mogán and Puerto Rico, with golden sand and crystalline waters, like a giant pool.

However, Amadores Beach is an artificial beach, like many in the Canary Islands, for example the Dorada beach in Lanzarote, Teresitas in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, etc. It is common to find in these islands beaches with black sand, not white, since they are of volcanic origin.
