Almacave Rua is one of the main streets, linking the Baixa with the Alto neighborhood. It's pretty long with a steep slope that runs between Plaza de Commerce (above) and Avenida Visconde G. Teixeira (below). It's not a particularly commercial street, but retains several important buildings, as we ascended on the left are: The Church of San Francisco, the City Library, the monument to the Treaty of Zamora, the Church of Sta.
