Alfarnate is the highest village above sea level in the province of Málaga. It is also known for its infrastructure. The village of Alfarnate used to be a Moorish village, as indicated in the name (al-Farná meaning floured or flour mill) and still has a significant amount of typically Moorish streets or alleys. The peculiarity of these streets is that they are very narrow and winding, and among them is this alley with two "doors" with a keyhole of typical Arab construction.
