Delicious!
I wrote in another note about the Allende Restaurant in the area of Puerto de las Palmas of Gran Canaria, so this time we decided to visit the one in Triana, on the corner of Domingo J. Navarro and Viera y Clavijo. I can only say, amazing!
The place is bigger than the one in Joaquín Costa, with a terrace, bar and tables. The service is very good and the food is delicious! One of my favorite dishes is the “serrana” salad, with goat chease and herb vinaigrette, mmmmm! They have other types of hot appetizers, like croquettes, fried cheese, calamari, etc.
As for the main dishes, I recommend the “arroz caldoso” (soupy rice) and the grilled meat, but personally my favorites are the “montaditos” (they just serve them on the terrace and bar), a fusion between the modern flavors and the traditional ingredients of Spanish cuisine.
