In a beautiful building
On Dumbarton Road is Allan Park Church, headquarters of the Church of Scotland, a branch of the Anglican Church but with more Catholic bits. Opposite the city's main tourist office, this church is in a beautiful building more square than rectangular, on a small hillock which is normal in the city center and built on the same mountain crowned by the castle. The highlight is the existence of a single rectangular tower of medieval origin, the oldest part. The interior is sober but welcoming, friendly attitude and remarkable attention by the priests, who are out there trying at all times to increase the number of parishioners.
