Typical Holland Cheese manufacturing
On our last trip to Holland, thanks to the Office of Tourism of Holland, we saw one of the best known farms close to Amsterdam, dedicated to the manufacturing of cheese and clogs, typically Dutch. The Farm Alida Hoeve, is near Volendam, and has a tour where they explain the basics of cheese making. There are many types, flavored with chilli, cumin, herbs, smoked .... apart from Gouda. At the end of the explanation there was a tasting, and we saw not only the difference in taste, but texture, according to their greater or lesser degree of healing. Here we witness the process of making wooden clogs.
