Exuberant decoration
The Pont Alexandre III is my favorite sight in all of Paris. Apart from its exuberant decoration of cherubs, nymphs, winged horses, and Art Nouveau lamps, it’s also located near the brilliant golden dome and offers exceptional views of the city.
As you cross the bridge, take a look over the edge and you’ll see crowds of waving tourists floating down the Seine aboard the Bateaux Mouche. If you raise your gaze, you’ll see Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
