An interesting town

Alcalalí, a municipality of La Marina in the Pop Valley was founded by the Arabs around the year 1020. It was reconquered by King Jaime I who was the hero of Valencia in the Christian reconquest in 1245. Today it's an interesting town to visit, we enjoyed a pleasant breeze from the surrounding mountains as we walked and visited the eighteenth century parish church, the fifteenth century medieval tower, which houses The Pansa museum and a beautiful gazebo, very modern and, on top of everything, there is also an ethnological museum in an old house of the last century. It is possible to stay in "Cal

Curret" and in Casa Almar (a pair of tiny cottages) that don't cost much as the town is very small.
