In the Background...The Sea!
The path that runs over the cliffs between Sopelana and Punta Galea, in Getxo, has been for a long time now a sort of refuge for us.
We go there when we need to detoxify from everyday life, get out of the city, of the pavement, pollution, the computer.
We travel along that road, parallel to a sea, and it fills all our senses with its smell, roar or calmness, the flavor of salt, humidity, the absence of limits…the uncertainty of what its depths hide and of everything that is found beyond the horizon. It allows us to recover life and be ourselves again.
We usually take the stone paths that time and travelers have molded over decades. When the mud doesn’t allow it, we take the road that joins both places since a few years ago.
