If the hostel is full, Aisling House is a great choice for the night in Clifden. The owner is a nice Irish person about 45 years old who talks fast (but clear) and that will give you all the info you want and on what routes, with all sorts of maps and instructions ...Then, if you have a car, he can tell you where to park for "free" and will tell you that if you have a problem in the town do not hesitate to tell him.
