Last Stop Before the Gorges
Except for a hotel, you won't find a place to stop off on your way to see the gorges of Verdon. There's not really anything special to see in this little town, except its church of Saint-Jean and the Castle Annex. The church dates back to 1639, and it's done in Romanesque style, despite being a church that looks like it's from the Middle Ages. The castle is private and you're not allowed to visit it. But that's no excuse not to stop off here because you walk a little bit. When you leave the village, as you go up the road if you go into the throat, after 2 or 3 curves you should stop and take in the view of the beautiful blue lake that you'll see as well as the castle and the church.
