Aguilas beach, 2003
The first thing that draws attention to those accustomed to the beaches of Cadiz and Malaga is the water temperature - pure soup! This beach is in an area known as Costa Calida. The beach is spectacular, with rock formations eroded by water over centuries and with the clearest water you can dream of. I recommend getting in the water with a few ice cubes in your bathing suit pocket so that you don't feel nostalgic about southern Andalusian beaches.
