Aguas Calientes

Aguas Calientes is an amazing place, a city situated in a lost valley, which has been developed as a starting point for trips to Machu Picchu. You can only get there on foot or by train. Its style is unlike any other city in Peru. It exists solely for tourists with a hotel and souvenir shops. It was a shock to arrive here after hiking for six days through the lost mountains.

Last time I was there, there were a couple houses and now, it is very enchanting and the walk from street to street are fenomenal.
