A magnificent view
In the heart of the historic city center of Scotland's capital city, along the famous Royal Mile that leads to the castle at the top of the hill, you'll notice little dark passages twisting between buildings, forming narrow streets and walkways. Whenever I enter one of them, I feel like I'm about to discover a hidden gem, and that's definitely true of Advocate's Close, which gives a magnificent view of the lower town dominated by the Scott Monument.
