Acropolis of Lindos

Beautiful spot on the incredible island of Rhodes. On the east coast and a sheer top is the Acropolis of Lindos with its 2 temples in honor of Zeus and Athena respectively, with a view worth the half-hour journey from the capital despite the intense heat. This is where "The Guns of Navarone" was filmed.
