Acadia National Park

Located on the coast of Maine (north east coast USA), mainly comprised of the Mount Desert Island (there is a bridge to get there). The area has mountains, a rocky shorefront with a beach, forests and lakes. The more than 2 million visitors annually, making it one of the most important places on East Coast of the United States (with the exception of the Everglades in Florida). A 30km road runs through the most important places in the park, and a small detour took us to Mount Cadillac, the best viewpoint point in the area. In Bar Harbor you can arrange excursions to see whales or lighthouses scattered

I came to Acadia with my boyfriend who is a Pilot - We took his Beach-craft Bonanza airplane to Maine from Pennsylvania and had one of the best weekends of my life. We hiked in the freezing cold, we ran on the beach in the rain and we watched amazing sunsets.

Place to be in autumn to see the different beautiful colors of the trees...yellow, red, brown and green leaves everywhere.
