Abandoned Cemetery of Puerto Lobos

Me habían hablado de un viejo cementerio abandonado a la orilla del mar en las inmediaciones de la también abandonada localidad de Puerto Lobos y me fui hasta allí a ver de qué se trataba. No lo encontré inmediatamente pues no tiene cercos ni señalización y solo quedan algunas tumbas aisladas que van quedado olvidadas y cada vez más derruidas. La arena y el viento patagónico se han encargado de pulir los nombres que alguna vez las identificaron. Además como en toda zona costera el salitre marino cumple una acción lenta pero devastadora sobre las estructuras metálicas. Todo esto contribuye a que el deterioro avance. Los cementerios siempre encierran historias que aquí se están dejando escapar, pero los únicos que merodean la zona son pescadores que pasan a lo lejos indiferentes o tal vez hasta temerosos. Para quien quiera visitar este lugar antes de que desaparezca, deberá llegarse hasta los pocos y abandonados edificios de Puerto Lobos en Chubut-Argentina. Desde allí caminar unos cientos de metros con dirección noreste y antes de llegar al océano, en medio de una vegetación achaparrada, encontrará lo que queda de este viejo cementerio.
