The oldest of the city
While strolling through the streets of Guarda, I found this restaurant with it's very affordable prices, even for dinner. We decided to try our luck their for the nighttime meal. It's a family restaurant with such a long tradition in the city that they boast of being the oldest. They serve typical Portuguese food and of course we opted for the cod, which in Portugal is cooked in a thousand, delicious ways. On this occasion we tried roast potatoes and grilled vegetables and fries, all accompanied by a fabulous vinho verde (green wine). We were served by a very friendly and nice girl and, as often happens in the area, the portions were huge.
