For the traveler who wants to experience nature best preserved in a heavenly and human quality of its people, this is one of the few places you can enjoy rushing rivers, idyllic coastlines, volcanoes, lush vegetation and animal diversity. But it's far from remote. It is perfectly accessible, except for the slightly uncomfortable roads or paths you have to follow. A marvel that I recommend to everyone.

I traveled to Costa Rica in 2012 with my school. I volunteered at an animal sanctuary helping to build new nests for the sea turtles on the beach. Also patrolling the beaches for poachers! I got to interact and look after so many exotic animals that I never have seen, like sloths and kinkajous. On top of all that we went snorkeling, white water rafting, zip-lining, and swimming in the La Fortuna hot springs.
