5 October Square (Praça 5 of Outubro)

October 5 Square is a small square in front of Salgueira beach, at the confluence of Avenues dos Banhos (boardwalk) and Santos Graça. The square has little to note other than a bronze monument from 2001, entitled "Vamos a la Playa" that is two sculptures, a mother and her son playing with a cube and the sand.
