Small Group Segovia Tour and Horseback Riding

After meeting your guide in downtown Madrid, you’ll board a comfortable van and begin the journey to the historic city of Segovia, located approximately one hour from the Spanish capital.

Once in Segovia, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the most important sights of Segovia’s Old City, declared a World Heritage Site. As you explore the cobblestone streets of the old city, you’ll visit key sights like the Plaza Mayor and the iconic Aqueduct of Segovia, a marvel of Roman engineering built 2,000 years ago.

Next, you’ll visit the Cathedral of Segovia, one of the world’s largest Gothic cathedrals, to admire its beautiful stained glass windows, chapter room and opulent chapels.

After visiting the Cathedral, the next stop will be the Alcázar, a medieval castle that seems plucked from the pages of a fairytale. After admiring its iconic towers and turrets, you’ll visit the interior to see the throne room and the collection of priceless artworks, period furniture and medieval arms.

Once the visit to the Alcazar is complete, you’ll return to the Aqueduct to begin the second half of this incredible experience.

Horseback riding in Segovia

During the second part of this experience, you’ll enjoy a 90-minute horseback-riding tour of the valleys, streams and meadows surrounding the city. You’ll be accompanied by an expert guide who’ll make sure you have a safe and fun experience enjoying the fresh air and beautiful landscapes of Segovia.
