Madrid Street Art Tour

At the chosen time, you'll meet your guide at the entrance of the Valle Inclán theater in the Plaza de Lavapiés. From there, you set out on a 2-hour walking tour of Lavapiés, a multicultural neighborhood whose historic streets are home to Madrid’s best street art.

You'll begin by walking down Argumosa Street, a lively street whose colorful storefronts are painted by local graffiti artists during the annual CALLE festival. You'll make a stop a secret urban garden to check out its murals and see several works by Madrid's most famous urban art collective, Boa Mistura.

Your next stop will be at La Tabacalera, a former tobacco factory which currently houses an alternative cultural center. La Tabacalera has played a key role in building Madrid's street art scene through its Muros Tabacalera project, an annual event which brings top international graffiti artists to create colorful murals on the center's walls.

After visiting La Tabacalera, you'll head up Embajadores street to see the Mame Mbayé memorial mural and works by some of Spain's most popular artists like Okuda San Miguel or Rey de la Ruina. The tour will end at the Plaza de la Cebada, a space in the heart of the La Latina neighborhood that has become a Mecca for street art fans.
