Full-Day Toledo & Segovia Tour from Madrid

You’ll depart from downtown Madrid at 7:45 in the morning to begin this full-day tour of two of Spain’s most amazing cities: Toledo and Segovia.

After around one hour, you’ll arrive in Toledo, known as the “City of the Three Cultures” for the unique mix of Muslim, Jewish and Christian influences in its medieval district. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of Toledo to visit its most important sights like the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, an ornate 15th-century monastery built by the Catholic Kings, and the Cathedral of Toledo, a marvel of 13th-century Gothic architecture.

To complete the visit to Toledo, you’ll cross the Bridge of San Martín to reach the Mirador del Valle, a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the old city perched above the Tagus River.

Your next stop of the day will be the historic city of Segovia. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the famous Roman Aqueduct of Segovia, built nearly 2,000 years ago. The aqueduct was built to supply the city with water from the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains and is considered one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in Europe.

You’ll continue your guided tour of Segovia with a visit to Segovia Cathedral and the Real Alcazar, a stunning medieval castle that served as the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle. You’ll visit the interior of this stunning castle to see the throne room and the armory, and learn about the history of the Spanish monarchs who resided there.

After discover the very best of Segovia, you’ll board the bus to begin the return journey to Madrid where you’ll arrive at approximately 19:45.
